Bon Savants RockBand Dev

What

Bon Savants are pleased as punch to be part of a small beta users group converting our songs into playable RockBand games that will be downloadable from the Harmonix RockBand Network.

Tia's awesome at RockBand.

Thom sucks.

Should be simple.
1. Prep the audio tracks.
2. Score the tracks to MIDI.
3. Mush it together into a game with Harmonix software.
4. Program killer crowd noise.

Bon Savants will find a way to make it hard.

The early contenders for RockBand songs are:
You Look Like Hell, My Belle*
The Song Destroyer*
Stars Collapse*
Between the Moon and the Ocean

The burning question: will Bon Savants be any good at playing their own songs on RockBand?!?

From the Harmonix Rock Band Network page:
"The Rock Band music catalog is about to get a lot bigger. We′re making a set of professional authoring tools available to bands, studios, and record labels everywhere in order to build a diverse and growing library of music that's sure to satisfy the tastes of hardcore gamers and casual fans alike. Every day, new tracks will become available* from top indie artists, newcomers, classic acts, and upstarts from the far reaches of the rock universe."

What they said.
